How Old are 3 to 4 Feet Trees?

The age varies depending on the type and variety of tree. A 3 to 4 feet tree will usually be 2 to 4 years old.

Why Should I Buy 3 to 4 Feet Trees?

3 to 4 feet trees are great starter trees for any landscape. They are just the right size. These trees are moderate in size and price. Our 3 to 4 feet trees are well developed and rooted in to their containers.

Will My Tree be Closer to 3 or 4 Feet Tall?

Tree sizes will vary, but will always be between 3 and 4 feet tall if you order our 3 to 4 Feet size trees. We guarantee they will be at least 3 feet tall.

What Pot Size Will My 3 to 4 Feet Tree Come in?

3 to 4 feet trees usually come in 3 gallon pots. However, the tree container size may vary.

Measuring Tree Height in the Nursery

We measure our trees from the soil line/top of the pot to the top of the tree. We never measure from the bottom of the pot. When you plant your new tree in the ground, you will have a true 3 to 4 feet tree.

How to Plant 3 to 4 Feet Trees

Dig a hole at least twice as wide as the root ball and the same depth. Place your tree level in the hole. Be sure the top of the root ball is slightly higher than your existing soil line and backfill with the soil you removed. If your soil is nutrient weak or heavy clay, you can mix in a potting soil up to 50% of the backfill. Water deeply at the base of the tree until the water begins to pool on the surface. We recommend mulching your new tree to help retain moisture, keep weeds at bay, and protect the roots.
