Description

America’s favorite pear, the Bartlett, is a firm, sweet, and aromatic pear that is great for canning, cooking, and eating fresh. The Bartlett Pear tree is fast growing, hardy, and produces a lot of fruit. Grow you own Bartlett Pear tree and never worry about pesticides and GMOs from grocery store pears again.

Nutrient dense and flavorful, Pears are great for lunchboxes! Pack just one organic pear and your child will be on their way to a healthy day! Pears are loaded with fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Keep the whole family happy and healthy with this delicious and nutritious snack!

Stunning spring blossoms make Pear trees lovely in the landscape! Choose a pear tree as a focal point in the front yard for beauty and practicality. No need to hide these pretty fruit trees in the backyard. Plant along a driveway or as an anchor at the side of your home. Bartlett Pear trees grow anywhere from 12 to 20 feet tall and wide at maturity. Plant about 8 feet from your home and at least 15 feet from other pear trees to give your Bartlett Pear tree plenty of room to grow.

Bartlett Pear Trees are easy to grow and require minimal care once established. Pear trees prefer full sun and are adaptable to any moist, well-drained soil. Fertilize when planting and in spring with a balanced, slow release fertilizer like the one we carry here at The Planting Tree. Prune when dormant for best results.

Harvest fruit in late August to early September. Bartlett pears actually ripen after being picked. If left on the tree too long your pear may become mushy and mealy. When ready for picking the pear's stem will break away from the branch easily.

Bartlett Pear trees are self-fertile. However they perform best when planted with another variety. D'Anjou and Bosc are good pollinators for Bartlett.

Plant your own Bartlett Pear Tree and watch it grow! Whether it's harvesting fruit, cooking, baking, or juicing get your whole family involved and enjoy making memories! Order your new fruit tree online today!

How To Care

Pears are easy to grow and only require minimal care once established.  Pear trees prefer full sun and are adaptable to any well-drained soil.  Water deeply twice weekly for the first few months to help the roots grow properly.  Once established Pear trees are somewhat drought tolerant, but perform best when kept somewhat moist in the growing season.  Fertilize when planting and in spring with a balanced, slow release fertilizer.  Prune when dormant for best results.

Harvest fruit in late August to early September.  Bartlett pears ripen after being picked.  If left on the tree too long your pear may become mushy and mealy.  When ready for picking the pear's stem will break away from the branch easily.

Bartlett Pear trees are partially self-fertile.  This means that they will produce fruit on their own, but perform best when planted with another variety.  D'Anjou and Bosc are good pollinators for Bartlett.

Bartlett pear tree purchase

The tree came packaged very well it arrived promptly. I was just disappointed I ordered a 5 to 6 foot tree and although it was over 5 feet it only had five leaves on it. I’m hoping it will bloom quickly the advertise size was a disappointment I thought of 5 to 6 foot tree would have much more growth. What is the return policy if this tree does not survive. I followed all the enclosed instructions one planting also added some phone bill and Pete Moss in the hole that was twice as wide as the ball of the plant
