Lesco Double Eagle Ryegrass Seed
Lesco's Double Eagle Select Perennial Ryegrass Seed is perfect if you're looking to over seed your lawn this fall. This product is widely used in the south for over seeding over Bermuda grass. It prefers full sun but will grow in partially shaded areas. Perennial Ryegrass has the highest wear tolerance of any cool season grass and can tolerate high traffic areas. Its best adapted to coastal regions that have moderate temperatures throughout the year. Lesco's Double Eagle Select will have your lawn green in no time! Your neighbors will be certain to covet your fine textured rich green lush lawn.
Mowing: Mow at 1.5 - 2.5 inches. If used to overseed warm-season grasses, gradually reduce the height of the ryegrass in the spring by mowing it more closely and more often to encourage growth of warm-season grasses as they come out of dormancy.
Fertilizing: Fertilize using 4 lbs. nitrogen/1000 sq. ft. per year during the period of active growth (February - June; October - December). For best results, use Lesco's Starter Fertilizer 18-24-12
Seeding Rate: Seed at 6 - 9 lbs./1000 sq. ft. Ryegrass seed germinates quickly: 3 - 5 days in moderate temperatures. A rapid turf cover is established within 4 - 8 weeks. Irrigate frequently. Water to a depth of 6 - 12 inches. If used to overseed warm-season grasses, water deeply and less often in the spring to encourage the growth of warm-season grasses coming out of dormancy.
If used in overseeding, first reduce the height of the bermuda grass down to a minimum of .5 inches. Remove any excess clipping to provide good seed to soil contact for germination.

Support/Transit Excellent, but have to wait on review for Seeding
Very slow in getting seed to grow - put out 3 weeks ago and spotty coverage (might be due to my soil conditions). Unfortunately, tried to seed bare spots yesterday and then had a bad rain storm and most washed away! Support/Transit I had from Planting Tree was excellent. Hopeful that grass will reach excellent too!
Best grass I have planted
Perfect i put this in my backyard and fescue in my front that I got from Lowe’s. Man this suff is 10x better then that Lowe’s junk I should have bought 2 bags and not have been skimpy.
Wonderful! It germinated quickly and is a lush green. I’m in the process of overseeding now. Areas of my property that I’ve tried for years to grow grass on are finally green. I will probably be buying more until my entire two acre lake property is covered in beautiful lawn!
