How Big is a 3 Gallon Shrub?
3 gallon shrubs have a root ball around 10 X 11 inches. These shrubs are usually 1 to 3 feet tall and 1 to 2 feet wide, but this varies depending on the type and variety of plant. Low growing spreading shrubs tend to be shorter and wider. While upright shrubs tend to be taller, but more narrow. Many flowering bushes and other compact shrubs tend to be rounded and as tall as they are wide.
