Follow the instructions below for our Tree Staking Kit:

Step 1
Measure 3 feet from the base of the tree and hammer the stake into the ground at a 45° angle. Repeat using the other 2 stakes, placing them in a triangle around the base of the tree.

Step 2
Tie a knot in the rope 6” from the end. Wrap the end of the rope around the trunk about 4-5 feet up from the ground just above the first branch. Tie the rope back to itself just under the first knot. You will now have a fixed loop around the trunk of the tree.

Step 3
After securing one end of the rope to the tree, extend the opposite end of the rope through the hole in the tree stake.

Step 4
Pull slightly to add light tension to the rope and tie a knot around the tree stake to finish the connection to the tree.

Step 5
Repeat steps 2-4 with the other 2 ties. This will anchor the tree on all 3 points. Stand back from a distance to make sure your tree is straight from all sides. If not, adjust the tension at each tree stake until the tree is straight.

The tree staking kit will ensure your tree will grow straight. No adjustments to ties necessary. We suggest removing after 1 year.
