Spring and fall are the best seasons to plant in most areas of the United States. However regions with mild summers or mild winters can plant at those times as well. This rose tree is heat tolerant and cold hardy. Plant this red rose tree in pots throughout the year except in zone 5. This zone is at the cold extreme for the Petite Knock Out Rose Tree. It will need to be protected in the winter months in zone 5 when planted in containers.

Plant this tree rose in full to part sun. The Petite Knock Out Rose Tree is adaptable to any well-drained soil. Water deeply when planting and about twice weekly during establishment. After establishment, simply water your rose tree when the soil dries out.
