How to Decorate a Mini Christmas Tree
Even Miniature Tabletop Christmas Trees can be decorated. Check out big box and craft stores for small colorful balls and short strings of lights. Look through the ornaments or decorations you already have. You are likely to find most of what you need. Choose small or lightweight ornaments. If your tree is only a couple feet tall, an easy to find 6-feet strand of traditional Christmas lights will work well. Be sure to get an extension cord to give you plenty of length to hide the cord. There are battery powered lights too if you want to avoid cords. DIY and include the kids! Try homemade popcorn garlands or strands of beads for a fun holiday project and a great look on your little Decorated Christmas Tree!

How to Care for Small Potted Christmas Trees
Most of our mini Christmas Trees enjoy sunlight, but will tolerate minimal light during the holidays. Water the soil when it gets dry. That is about it! After the holidays put your tree in a sunny spot and plant when the ground is diggable. If you live in a climate at least 1 growing zone higher than the lowest recommended growing zone, your tree it will be fine to stay outside in a pot year-round. Example: Recommended growing zones 5-9. You can can grow outdoors in a pot year-round in zones 6 and up or move into a protected area like a garage during winter. Zones lower than 5 would want to move the plant indoors for winter.
How Long Will These Small Christmas Trees Last?
The great thing about our small live Christmas trees is that they are grown in a pot. These trees can be planted outdoors after the holidays or planted into a bigger container to use next year. Be sure to check your growing zones to be sure the tree can grow in your climate. Many of our mini Christmas trees will grow and thrive outdoors in your area. A little water, sun, and soil is all they need. Cut Christmas trees last a few weeks in water, but our live holiday trees can last for generations to come!
