The Bloomerang® Dwarf Pink Re-blooming Lilac is easy to care for. This lilac enjoys full sun and is adaptable to variety of soils as long as they are well-drained. Fertilize with a slow release fertilizer in spring for best results. No need to prune this lilac, but if you do, right after spring blooms fade is the time recommended by horticulturists. The flowers bloom on old and new wood so no worries if you want to keep these shrubs as a manicured hedge or a smaller size. Deadheading old blooms does encourage faster and more plentiful reblooming, but isn’t necessary if you want to avoid the task. Enjoy this shrub in a container or in the landscape. They look lovely as a focal plant in a garden or bed and amazing in group plantings and hedges. Be sure to plant where you will be able to admire all the butterflies the Pink Lilac attracts.
